I left my laptop running all night but I made one mistake...I forgot to turn off Sleep Mode!!! So needless to say once I woke up, I noticed that there was a 5 hour window that the machine didn't do anything

Right now I have the laptop on and running. Hopefully I can pull in twice the amount of WU's!

ahhhh talk about bad luck there.

never liked sleep mode myself. for me, its either on, off, or an active power save mode which doesnt disrupt activity (basically the whole turn off monitor and hard disks for a download or something).

I got a i7 with a nvida 285, and another notebook with a 2.5quash and a nvida 280m Should I put folding on it?

I would put it on at least the 285 using the gpu program.If you wanted to use the cpu I would use one of the smp programs instead of the unicore.Laptops I stay away from.

I see that Defon_con_5 has been on the move. Congrats on 25,000! By the way, what are you running? Judeging from the points that you are producing in a day, I would say the gpu client. If so what video card are you using?

ahhh, yes, but he might also just have as much free time as i do...like, at least, half the day-type free time

I just turn mine on run the gpu and cpu smp programs and got to work,let it run all day and only turn it off at night or when i want to game.
