re: Folding @ Home II

These are the specs of my laptop.

AMD Turion X2 Dual-Core Mobile Processor RM-70
3GB SDRAM, 250GB HDD
802.11 b/g wireless

I don't know what matters when using the program, but what version would be best for my laptop?

I don't know if I should use the CPU or GPU client. I have a Q9450 Quad Processor @ 2.6ghz and a 512mb 4870 sonic dual edition.

both:)
i run both 90% of the time q9550 and the 260gtx
and a e8400/8800gt before that.
also with that cpu i would run the smp version.faster than the unicore and good for more points

re: Folding @ Home II

according to the official website it should only cost 10-20 more a month to fold 24/7.where they got this i do not know.
but fo me it has had very little impact.

Mine actually went up $17 a month. But that is with a max of 850 watts running, literally, 24 hours a day.

re: Folding @ Home II

thats still not bad, considering its 850 watts and the system is on 24 hours. hmmm, one would think it would have been a lot more.

dammit, ive got 45/1500 left and i wont be seeing my computer for a few days. impatience is kicking in...
