RCM, http://kakaostats.com/usum.php?u=1473263 is your user specifics if you'd like to use that to keep up with your stuff, also. Helps to let you know where you will be in 5 days or in 30 days, etc. Who's near, who will be catching up, etc.

Wow...after looking at this stat site a little bit more...in about 30 days we will be breaking 1000 rank mark!
I think it will be done sooner but this is a big step since only a few weeks ago our team was sitting at 1300's and not moving. Let's keep it up! -------------------

Well, I'm retiring my cpu clients from folding. It just takes to long to finish a WU. Plus when it's just my gpu folding the WU's do finish about 30 minutes faster on average depending on what kind of job I get. I will be ordering a laptop cooling pad this week when NCIX e-mails me my $100 savings code so I'll be able to start gpu folding on the laptop again without it starting to overheat and throttle down.

Courgan if folding like a mad man, but I noticed Kspiess is actually getting a few more points everyday. Using a GTX280 or something? Or 2 of them, lol?
I can get 4500 ppd using my AGP HD3850 and PCI-e 8800GTS IF, and that is IF (which never happens) no one closes the program out there. With whatever drivers I'm using, people can't game with it running. So they shut F@H off, and never turn it back on. ------------------- C2D e6420 @ 3.0ghz 4GB DDR2 @ 936mhz HD4870 512MB

quote courganThat is a good question. I am running a 9800gx2 and I can do about 3500 to 4200 and day if I run it 24/7. But I tend to play some games when I get home from work. -------------------

I have to apologize to everyone that has been folding for a while, only to see me shoot to #13 place in like 4 days or so.
Redemption asked me to help out with the folding team. As you may or may not know, I review stuff for Neoseeker (mostly video cards), so I have some very serious hardware at my disposable. Right now I'm running two systems : a Core i7 920 and a QX9650. The real folding firepower is coming from two GTX 285 cards (one in each system.) This hardware is definitely going to help the folding team a bit

re: Folding @ Home II |
quote kspiessDon't apologize. It's kickass for the whole team. BTW, I am going to see if running my laptop's Core Solo @ 1.86ghz is worth doing. Don't want to stress it for nothing. It's a Dell e1505, never has had an overheating problem.. Right now, the CPU is maxing at 58C, but then the fans kick in harder and hold it at 44C for quite awhile. That's not hard on it, for sure. And, I have it sitting on my PC over the top exhaust fan to cool the RAM. HD temp is 27C on the Seagate, so my PC helps keeps it cool, easily. Running console version on it. Oddly, it seems like it will take 10-12 hours to do a WU. That can't be right for that CPU. I picked the middle sized work units for download. Should I have picked the biggest? Are the points that much more worth it? ------------------- C2D e6420 @ 3.0ghz 4GB DDR2 @ 936mhz HD4870 512MB
