btw, I typed the update code no. at google and I was returned a download of SP2 5 lang multi pack. It is of the same size as shown in Windows Update.
maybe this is why it is so large? It contains five languages? Know of any option to download just English version from Windows Update?

4 extra languages shouldnt make it that big. i mean, its just text stuff, not actual programming code (by actual, i mean real, or proper).

however, i do not know (again, because i only use XP).

keep in mind that I have a 4gb/month data transfer limit and I have already downloaded about 600mb of updates trying to get SP2 available on my comp on Windows Update.

well, its up to you...you want to get the updates or download some more? you could also just wait till youre rear the end of your monthly limit and then see how much you have left.

And I live in a country where broadband services aren't too advanced. 16 mbps is considered a super speed.
