doubt it. i dont think many laptops can accommodate 3.5 inch hard drives. its usually 2.5 or smaller. you need to measure the width of your current hard drive and look for a laptop hard drive. they have different interfaces.

I dont think any laptops support 3.5" hard drives. They are too big and require too much power for them.
Laptops almost always use 2.5" drives though. You will just need to know if its a SATA or IDE drive. btw, if you replace the hard drive in your laptop, you will have to reinstall windows to it and copy all of your information over to it. It may be easier to just get an external hard drive and plug it in. ------------------- quote TurMoiL911

depends if hes getting a performance gain out of the new drive. in that case, just get a hard drive enclosure and copnnect your old hard drive via usb to your laptop...after installing the OS of course.
quotehah, yeah, i wasnt exactly sure on whether or not they even exist. probably back in the laptop dark ages... lets try fitting that into a macbook air! -------------------

re: General discussion IV |

$73 isnt bad for first gen, 16gb touch.
I forget what all the differences are, but I know that the second gen has volume control buttons on the side and the 1st doesnt. The second gen also has built in bluetooth (which is pretty much only useful for bluetooth speakers). The 1st gen may not have a built in speaker either, but I'm not sure. ------------------- quote TurMoiL911

If I were to sell my first gen 2gb iPod nano (in original packaging), what could I expect to get for it? No scratches what so ever.

Look at Ebay. I do a search and look at completed listings to get an idea of how much I can get for something.
