All Names; is it a 15volt power adapter/wall wart/power brick thing? You can probably find a new one at radio shack, best buy, or online somewhere. I think the only problem you would have is getting the right plug to connect it to the hub, but you can probably just cut off the ends of the cables and swap them.

We probably aint going to see sandy bridge released until 2011. The i7's have barely took off and are still being outsold by the core 2's, and in the current economic climate
I doubt Intel can afford to release it as early as 2010. Im simply waiting for the i5's, which we'll see this year or early 2010. They're cheaper than the current i7's and im certain the performance won't lag that far behind. They'll outperform the core 2's too. ------------------- Want to be beaten by an ape online?

Unlikely, Intel usually get their products right 1st time around.
Id like to wait, but with me heading to uni next year I have to change this old thing. Its a pentium 4 like yours, although I ended up changing alot of parts to get it to game better. Now I don't even bother, I miss PC gaming, but for now its cheaper for me to use a PS3, no maintainance costs lol. ------------------- Want to be beaten by an ape online?

i really wonder if intel will end up one day monopolising the market. i have mixed feelings about it though. im an intel supporter, but such a situation means that they control the prices.

dunno why but I didn't like AMD from the start, even if it is decent.

re: General discussion IV |

well AMD has always been more oriented around budget builds rather than performance. i dont care what the overclocing records say, intel is still better.
