I don't see any processor in the list.
Also, there is absolutely no reason to go socket 775. It's at the end of its life. The AMD processors just blow them out of the water for much cheaper, and the socket AM3 is far from dying. 6-cores are coming to it next year.

fans and sound cards are not needed. fans come with the CPU and sometimes the case, and your motherboard will have onboard sound.
what the hell is a G210 video card? and that power supply shouldnt be trusted. you need a proper brand name power supply for reliability. mess this up and you risk taking the rest of your computer down with it. i suggest you provide a budget so that others can suggest some builds for you. and if you are not going to build one now, or in the next 6 months, then there really isnt that much of a point to getting build suggestions now (i think i mentioned this to you in another thread). -------------------

yh but i might build it... since im sick and tired of my comp lagging and freezing every 5 mins. My budget might probably by about £100-£200. I wont be needing the HDD or the DVD Drive. And I need to buy the items in the UK. So only £'s not $'s.
(I just want a comp that has a good performance) ------------------- Need supply for your Pokemon Shop: WWW.POKMCREATER.WEEBLY.COM

That g210 will probably not play gta4 as it's the lowest current generation card from nvidia. I forget what it's comparable to but you wont be able to play any current generation games at anything higher than minimum to medium settings depending on the game.
The size of the hard drive will not affect the performance, just the amount of things you can store. The drive will probably run very slow compared to todays 7200rpm drives. You are also missing a case. Also like Hii said, you wont need a sound card. Especially on a strict budget. He's right though, to be playing any games you pretty much need at least 300. ------------------- Classic Gamer's Society Current Game - Lufia II Rise of the Sinistrals

its your absolute minimum, and with a shitty PSU as well. probably aim for rosewill-type quality but even that might be pushing it.
basically the cheapest mobo, 2 gigs of ddr2 800 ram, the cheapest dual core processor (like this one), cheapest hard drive and DVD drive (should be able to scavenge the hard drive from his previous system as a slave drive), and whatever money is left over will be for the video card and psu. its doable, but more money is always a plus. -------------------

I might just buy a comp instead of making one at this moment. Btw, I forgot to tell you that I dont need a case since was going to use my computers case. This is the computer im planning to buy. I just relized that the game card on the packard bell isn't really good...

re: First Build |

what video card? it has none. its integrated. meaning it wont run shit. and if youre on a budget as it is, then buying a prebuilt computer is only making it worse.

$300 isn't going to get you a computer that can play any games regardless of how you do it.

300 POUNDS minus a DVD and case is possible. you just need to use a cheaper power supply. dont expect high performance crysis, but you can play games on it.
