first off stay away from the rosewill psu they are unreliable
stick to brands such as coolermaster, antec, thermaltake, corsair etc. i would go with a Western Digital hard drive over the samsung. What games and what resolution will you be gaming at with this computer? -------------------

Sorry for not responding. I got some responses on another forum, here's what I think I'm going for right now.
Tell me if there's anything you think I should switch up. mobo: GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3P AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128392 graphics card: XFX GeForce GTX 260 Core Edition 576MHZ 896MB 2.0GHZ GDDR3 PCI-E Dual DVI-I http://ncix.com/products/?sku=41731&vpn=GX260XADJC&manufacture=XFX RAM: G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-10600CL9D-4GBPK - Retail http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231179 CPU: AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition Callisto 3.1GHz Socket AM3 80W Dual-Core Processor Model HDZ550WFGIBOX - Retail http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103680 power supply: OCZ StealthXStream OCZ500SXS 500W ATX12V / EPS12V Active PFC Power Supply - Retail http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341012 hard drive: Western Digital Caviar Black WD6401AALS 640GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136319 cd/dvd burner: Sony Optiarc 24X DVD/CD Rewritable Drive Black SATA Model AD-7240S-0B - OEM http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827118030 case: Antec Three Hundred Illusion Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129066

ahh no problem
looks like they basicly suggested the same changes that i did. I do not know if Nvidia is your preference, but you should check out this 4890 Turbo pre overclocked card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161298&cm_re=HIS_4890-_-14-161-298-_-Product -------------------

pity you dont have 820 bucks, because this would mow down everything:
quote another threadnow you could swap the case for something cheaper, and swap the 965 to a 955 processor ad it will get you under budget - its your call. -------------------

Sounds like a good Idea
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103674&cm_re=phenom_955-_-19-103-674-_-Product I think you would be better off with a quad core vs dual. quad cores may not be utilized much now, but in the future they will be. -------------------
