ok, so i've got yuri's revenge and red alert. red alert runs fine with a little tweaking (via compatibility mode). i'm using windows ME, but as aforementioned i run it through compatibility mode on windows 98.

however, everytime i run yuri's revenge skirmish, campaign, or multiplayer, the game freezes after loading for a quarter of the bar.

i'm sure i'm not the first to have this problem, but i am desperate for a solution. has anyone found what can be done other than patching and compatibility mode, both of which i have done?
