Hey, do you have to save the appropriate egg color to get that color of baby Yoshi? Because I got the game yesterday and I am about 3/4 of the way through Donut Plains and I havent seen 1 single baby yoshi yet. is there a point where they start appearing? Because I have freed the red egg from iggy, and still no baby yoshis.

You don't get those yoshis til Star World, then you have to go through Star World.

Ok here is what you do. Go to star world and what ever one you like better grab from the place and make it grow up. When it does just leave and you have him, but once you lose him you have to go back to the beginning secret level were it gives you him and the leaves.

Red- Fire no matter what shell he eats
Blue- Flys no matter what shell he eats
Yellow- When you jump he creats a small shock wave killing all enimes

How do you get the smaller Yoshis. I've seen them in pictures,but I haven't found them in the game at all.

When you get to the star place were there are 5 star levels you get them. All they do is eat then turn into normal ones. Thats how you get the color diffrinces in them.
