There's nothing you can do really except, battle, battle, battle! I feel as if there's an item that will increase EXP gained by 1.5X, but I may just be confusing it with the Amulet Coin which doubles your money because I am extremely tired. I'm fairly sure I'm just confusing the imaginary object with an Amulet Coin, but if I'm not and anyone knows the name, you can feel free to take the reign here.

re: faster levels |
quote grizzNo, that splits EXP Points between 2 members, not increases it. I don't believe there's actually an item and it was just my imagination, but I'll have a look through an items list and post here if I find out anything about it. EDIT: Aha, it was NOT just my imagination! A Lucky Egg will increase the amount of EXP earned by 1.5X if the Pokemon holds this item. The only way you'll get one is to catch a Chansey, which is rare on it's own, that is holding a Lucky Egg. There's a slim chance you'll find one holding a Lucky Egg, but it is possible. I would know, I used to have a lucky egg.

well the exp share basically the same thing if u put it on the pokemon that u want to get more exp because it is adding more of it to the pokemon. it basically gives it more points

re: faster levels |
quote grizzActually, it doesn't. For example, let's say Pokemon A would give your Pokemon B 1400 points regularly. But now let's say Pokemon B did all the fighting but Pokemon C was holding an EXP Share, both Pokemon B and C would gain 700 EXP Points each, adding up to the original 1400 EXP Points. Total EXP Points/Pokemon fighting or holding EXP. Share = EXP Points per Pokemon. Do you understand now?

All I do is whip up over 100+ Rare Candies in no time at all with GameShark. And even though the stags aren't all up to speed, it's quite worth it in the long run.

re: faster levels |
quote grizzOh dear, throwing things in a fit of anger is never the solution. Ah well, it is all in the past now. I'm not sure of your age, budget, and methods of shopping but as DXD mentioned if you wish to level up in the quickest manner possible you can find a GameShark for the Gameboy Color and original Pocket Gameboy for incredibly cheap on Ebay. This is, of course, assuming you own a Gameboy Color or Gameboy Pocket. While I believe these will work on the GameBoy Advance or Gameboy Advance SP so long as you are using a Gameboy Color or a Pocket Gameboy cartridge, I take no responsibility if it only works when using the Gameboy Color or a Pocket Gameboy system. As you mentioned, you already owned a Gameshark so I assume it worked before you damaged it and know precisely which model works on the device you are trying to use. As for the EXP Share you mentioned, I don't believe adding it on to a Pokemon and that Pokemon alone does all the fighting increases the amount of EXP Points said Pokemon gains, but I could very well be wrong. As both Takeshi and I mentioned, a Lucky Egg is a guaranteed item which can be attached to any Pokemon for an increase in EXP Points.

If you're worried about losing your save files, you might want to invest in the Mega Memory Card. With it you can back up your save files and never worry about losing them again.
