I have got through the tumbling wheels into what is supposed to be the elevator, but nothing happens. The elevator won't move and I can't see how to make it move.

If you specify your question, perhaps someone can help you.

- Which level are you on?

- Specify better where in the level your problem occurs.

- Specify what you have don prior to your present situation (on that level), that can be crucial.

This is on level 15 - Infernal Machine.

Having replaced urdons part for the electric one (I forget ok?!) you are then supposed to run across the rotating bridge gears to the opposite side of the room (thus avoiding falling into the electrified pool). Unfortunately the door doesn't seem to open and no switch is present. My girlfriend and I am totally stuck - it's the only game she likes to play (apart from the obvious) so I'd appreciate any help!

I'm playing on XP - could be problem???

Any ideas???

Sorry to say, but it's a bug.

I don't know if it's related to XP or not, but you will never get in to that elevator.

I've solved it by using some "saved games" provided by a helpful guy at the net. You will find them on ftp://ftp.soulianis.com/archive/indy/. There are som special saved games for level 15, and you will need some more of them, since you will find 2-3 more bugs on this level.

Clintwood - hey man thanks a lot! I've just got to this stage too and several attempts later realised I had to return to this forum for more bug fixes!! Thanks to your helpful redirections I'm able to proceed at last! Why didn't Lucasarts fix this with a patch?
