when a monster has low hp like 1 or 2 hp and you hold L and press X,Y,A,or B, you can capture the enemy

No, but you have to be at close range or hold the top button down and stear the card.

Just get to the end and beat the boss to do this go up to the statues holding stuff and they will be secret swiches that when pressed moves the statues out of your path some areas have more then one.
