I'm pretty sure you have to choose to share the folder first. Try this on XP: right click on the folder > sharing and security > select "share this folder" > apply. 	For Vista, right click the folder and select "Share". The give it the class you'd like to share it with and you're good. Something I had trouble with is Vista automatically sets your folders to password protected without actually creating a password. Go to your networking options and be sure to turn off "Password Protected Sharing". -------------------
