re: Loungin' Helpdesk

I've started a new account on our computer and every time i try and open programs such as word and windows picture manager it always comes up with the "installing office software" thing. However, it won't complete the installation...do i have to go through the internet to stop it from doing this?

I remember seeing a thread on it quite some time back. Just can't find it.

Because I put text in a code markup that stretches the page.

I just did a cold reboot a minute or two ago, and it seems fine so far, but if anyone can still answer, it'd be appreciated.

CD Tweak: Of course, it just warned me of the virus. *Sigh.*

Why does Dragon post so much in this thread?

Heh, just kidding. Has anyone noticed how MSN lists the artist's name first and then the name of the track when you listen to a song in your media player now? Is there any way to change it? That format confuses me. >_>

re: Loungin' Helpdesk

I had it the other way around when I used that plugin for MSN. I think it deals with the media player you use. I got it in the Song Name - Artist format when using iTunes and Artist - Song Name format using Windows Media Player.

re: Loungin' Helpdesk

I bought a $15 laser Logitech mouse about 2 years ago, but for some reason it only likes old very mousepads or very expensive new ones. For instance, I've got a Fragmat that it absolutely hates (cursor jumps randomly when I'm using it) or a Playstation 3 mousepad I got today from our store's Sony representative and it does the same thing (though not as badly). It really seems to dig my Razer mousepad ("eXactMat X Control") though. Has anyone encountered anything like this?

I'm finding my mouse doesn't like any shiny material. I don't know anything about how it works, but I always end up putting a piece of paper under my mouse (which works fantastically).

Oh hai.
Is there any way to convert a video file from .mpeg/.mpg to a .32G without any special software (Or with special software)?

re: Loungin' Helpdesk

Okay, I'm just going to throw out a few answers, so pay attention if the answer to your question is here.

To get rid of a virus, google search ComboFix, download it, and run it and follow all of the instructions.

To DL old Podcasts, use the iTunes store to navigate to the subscription you're trying to find, click on it, and underneath you should be able to see the list of past episodes released.

Unfortunately, I don't know what the hell a .32G video type is. Quite possibly, it's the only video filetype I'm unfamiliar with.

A mouse that uses a laser tends to do poorly on any transparent (or moderately transparent) surfaces. Also, I've had an issue with my mouse jumping around, but it's usually fixed by simply picking it up and placing it down again to set the laser correctly. Obviously, surfaces with a heavy grain will have issues as well.

re: Loungin' Helpdesk

lol Thanks for trying, as I'm not surprised you don't know what a .32G file is (It's a file format for some phones). Thanks anyway =P
