re: Loungin' Helpdesk

I got this Motorola RAZR V3c phone, and everytime I plug it on the comp using an USB cable, it says they can't find the device or whatever. Kinda a n00b at that shit, anyone know what to do so it works?

Did you get a software disc to install with the phone?

re: Loungin' Helpdesk

Are there any compression formats where I can get a 2 gig file around 1 gig?

re: Loungin' Helpdesk

That is highly dependent on the filetype. Certain video formats can be converted to about 60% of their original size (same for music), but you will pretty much always have a loss of quality.

General files can be archived using winZip or winRAR and decreased in size, but to use them you need to "unzip" the files, which restores them to their original size (archiving is really only useful for grouping files together and transferring them).

quote Sereph
I bought a $15 laser Logitech mouse about 2 years ago, but for some reason it only likes old very mousepads or very expensive new ones. For instance, I've got a Fragmat that it absolutely hates (cursor jumps randomly when I'm using it) or a Playstation 3 mousepad I got today from our store's Sony representative and it does the same thing (though not as badly). It really seems to dig my Razer mousepad ("eXactMat X Control") though. Has anyone encountered anything like this?
Laser mice can get goofy on certain surfaces. Even the color of the surface can screw with it. VeGi did a review on I think the copperhead mouse and found that it didn't work well at all on red surfaces.
