My grandad from my mums side of the family died just before I was born.

My grandmother died at around 82. I was only 3 and hardly knew her. Pretty sad....wish I could've known her better.

Everybody on all sides are still going. I keep in mind though that they're not going to live very much longer. Two or three years at most.

My grandparents on my dads side dies about 5 years ago within months of each other. My moms parents are still alive.

Both of my grandpas died before I could remember them and before I was born. One of my grandmas died 6 years ago. The other died 3 years ago.

My grandpa died before I was even born. So i was saved the pain, but never got to the know him. My other grandpa, from my fathers side is a total asshole. I really wish I could have spent time with my grandpa. I think he was in his late 60's when he passed away.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's hard to lose a grandparent, to lose anyone, really. I lost my grandmother on my dad's side and my grandfather on my mother's side within the same week. My grandmom was about 86, and my grandfather I believe was 76. It was pretty difficult, especially losing them both at the same time. My grandfather on my father's side also is deceased, but he dies when I was really young, so I don't remember him or that time much.
