I'm not sure if this would be better suited in the Photography forum or not, since it's a discussion thread, so I'm posting it here. Sorry if that's bad.

So I just have a question about the photographer of an image.

Say I was wanting to take a picture. I set up the camera how I want (Exposure, Aperture, White Balance, ect...) then someone else pressed the shutter button.

Would the photo be considered mine or theirs?

Depends on who beats the other one up first.

I would probably place the bet on theirs. You could've taken the time to set-up all of that. But if you didn't press the shutter button, it ain't yours. Mainly because some photos need to be taken at an exact moment, and if you didn't "take that picture" then you can't really claim ownership.
