No, they don't work. They're pretty much exactly the same as Rogue AntiSpyware - programs that seem to be a legit antispyware, but are really viruses in themselves.

I never tried them, but from what I heard, they don't work. And I really doubt most of them would either.

Well, from what the popular word tells me, it is best to stay away from these ads. I knew life wouldn't be that easy. When they say "Nothing in life is free" I think they are being serious. There have been a countless number of instances in my life where I thought I was going to actually get away with something easy or for free, but there was something that got in the way literally at the last minute.
