Alright, I'm moving into a different house sooner or later, which obviously means a new room. Unfortunatly I don't have any amazing ideas for a color(s) of the room (by this I mean the walls, carpet). So I figured I would ask the brilliant people of loungin, any good ideas for colors of a room?

Beige carpet and beige walls. It's so original.

This...but maybe a bit darker. Your ceiling should be lighter then your walls.

I suggest you choose a room color that appeals to you. It is your room, so it will be your personality that you want to represent. Though remember that room colors can affect your mood at times. A bright colored room could, perhaps, intensify a headache, a plain colored room could promote boredom, etc.

I went with a deep shade of blue. I find it relaxing, which is what I want for my bedroom. Unfortunately, my carpet has not been changed since moving in, so the pink kind of stands out, but that is not a big deal for me.

A light grey with a bluish tint is nice, with a slightly darker, bluer carpet is what I have, and looks lovely.

Dark blue walls, and wood flooring, and an orange like color for the bed and night stands.
