Lol, I learned of this today too from my homeroom teacher.

I loved it when my teacher said that it was weird that the morning news we watched was discussing hurricanes (which are happening in USA which I live in) when the world might end in a few days.

This prompted me to google it and so far, I only know that it is apparently being done by both the French and Swiss across their border and that it "could" create a black hole but the brilliant scientists of the world powers do not think it will.

Either way, I think it is a very dumb thing to do and if we die, I hope all you people who bothered to post here will have good last days and possibly a good after life.
But let me say this again, IT IS A DUMB AND RISKY IDEA!!!!!

Oh, I just realized that this really IS real. I saw it on the Today show. I still think that idea of a black hole is stupid. It doesn't even have cupcakes.

We have discussed this millions of times throughout the thread. Ok, The scientist's did the calculations yes there is an extremely small percent that it could create a black hole.

Now, this is where people are messing up, people think "Black holes?! ive heard of those, They suck things up right? ZOMFG U IDIOTS UR GUNNA KILL UESSS"


Well No, A black hole created would be absolutely tiny, maybe a nanometre big, and then it would evaporate into nothingness.

If you actually believe all the crap the media feeds you, then your a sucker for mass media and should stop being so nieve.

But I guess some people, Even when faced with the calculations and scientific facts still like to go on what the press says. I think these top scientists know more about this then you and the press.

Think about it, If they knew 100% it would create a black hole that would destroy the Earth they would not do it, Why would they? They would die too. Stop being such idiots.

At least we can always blame the scientists, huh? Too bad they never venture outside of their labs. Why do they want to do this stupid experiment, anyway?
