I know this is going to sound ignorant, but there are certain avatars that make it hard for me to take the person using them seriously. Mainly, these are ones of modern day Sonic, gifs cycling through the SSBB roster, and Pokemon.

I'm not really sure what makes me think this, but I tend to associate these avatars with childishness.

Do you agree? Disagree? Are there any other avatars that make you feel the same way?

If they choose to associate their "avatar", described as a picture to show yourself off, whether yourself is a photo of you, some of your interests, or your mood, with absolute immaturity, then they should expect to be treated immaturely.

An avatar doesn't doesn't tell you if they are childish it is what they do that makes you think it.

If I'm talking to someone with any pokemon avatars/signatures then my opinion of them is that they are a bit childish. But who am I to judge people I don't know - each to their own, I'm sure people think the same about Death Note. :3

But i do feel sorry for the ones that make their own on paint.

Some avatars annoy me like really feminine ones when it is a male like Starborns (No offence to him)

I think mines alrite as it represents my favourite film and a few people have PMed me saying quotes from it lol

I agree very much so. Especially when they're normal, animé girls...

90% of people with Pokemon avatars are immature and annoying, so generally I disregard them.

I don't even really look at avatars? I'll judge them by what they post, no matter how cheesy that might be.

i don't think it childish my avatar is my made up form of shadow the hedgehog ub3r. i made this and i like how it turned out so now it's my avatar.
