After a successful first season, the social experiment Big Brother Neoseeker is back.

What Is It?

Big Brother Neoseeker is based on the popular US Reality TV series, Big Brother. The goal of Big Brother is simple: Take a large group of diverse people, and put them in a house together until only one single challenger is left standing. The power is in the hands of the houseguests themselves. Fates are be decided by challenges, and votes from other members in the household.

How To Play

At the beginning of a round, there is a competition to determine who wins the title of Head of Household. As Head of Household(HoH), the goal is to nominate two people for eviction. Following this, is the Veto competition, where the HoH, the two nominees, and an small array of selected houstguests compete for the Power of Veto. The winner of the Power of Veto (POV) has the option to save one of the people up for eviction, or keep the two nominees the same. At the end of the round, members of the house will vote for one of the two people up for eviction, and the person with the most votes is forced to leave the game. This process continues each round until only two people remain. Then the Jury (the last 5 contestants eliminated) vote for the winner.

Little Brother?

In this season of Big Brother we would like to introduce a new season twist. At the very beginning of the game, one person from the pool of houseguests will be selected to be the first "Little Brother". Little Brother will be your typical houseguest, just with more privileges, advantages, and included inside information.

These privileges and advantages will be a behind-the-scenes operation. In fact, all other contestants will not know who this person is.

However, houseguests will have an opportunity to guess who this "Little Brother" is. Guess correctly, and the current Little Brother is evicted automatically during whichever point of the game we are currently at. The person who submits a correct guess gets to assume the new position of Little Brother. However if that person guesses wrong, they are automatically nominated for eviction AFTER the Veto Ceremony.

Big Brother is also bringing back two *hand picked* contestants from last season's Big Brother.

Rules

• Being active is a must! There are multiple challenges each round, so please only sign up if you can commit to participating in multiple challenges each week. Most actions will take place in 24 hour intervals. 24 is the maximum amount of time, the exact pace, however is determined by the houseguests. If you do not think you will have time at least once a day to participate, do not sign up.

• Failure to compete in a HOH challenge results in automatic nomination. This will be held throughout the season. Remember, activity is a must in this game!

• Diaries (personal insight into the game; featuring out-of-thread discussion, thoughts, issues) will be due during each nomination ceremony. Without a diary, a vote is void, and a penalty (which ranges relative to tasks at hand) will be enforced during the next HOH round. Diaries will be posted for everyone to read at the very end of the season when the new winner is crowned. Keep that in mind when you are writing them.

• Alliances are encouraged. Speaking through pm, instant messages, or whatever else is encouraged and accepted.

• There are no limits on help in this game. If you ever feel yourself stuck in a challenge, it is encourage to use your sources. Neoseeker and the internet have an array of topics and available help. Feel free to take advantage of whatever you have at your disposal.

• Manipulation is part of the game. Backstabbing, lying, and other tactics *may* be necessary to win. However, at most, you must remember that it is *only* a game.

• This will not be exactly like Big Brother the television program. There are many international versions of the show, this game is based on the US version. However, as this is the internet and not real life, of course there will be differences.

• In your PM to me, please add the 'frag' smilie in it. All PMs which do not include the 'frag' smilie will be ignored. This rule is in place mostly to make sure that everyone has read the rules.

• Have fun, and remember, Do Not Assume.

And yes, diaries are ideally a round's recap from your perspective. Honestly though, they can be whatever you desire. It's best to include things that we don't see happening in the house thread, and talk about any moves you have made.

It might seen so, but last 'season' that didn't seem exactly seem the case. It is all relative though, if it seems the rate of applications slows down greatly then of course the start date can be pushed up. However, as of now, it's relatively steady. Last 'season', the last few days of the signups is actually when I got most of the applications.

Big Brother is a long process within itself, the last one took 2 and half months to complete exactly (though we had some activity mishaps), so it's a long term investment. Within these 26 days, I recommend you look through the old threads. But as said, it's all going to be relative and tentative.

Just have "constrain" deselected.

If you still find yourself in a bind and absolutely think you can't do it, I could resize it for you. , just make sure you *do* include a picture when you apply.

The deadline will also probably be at a new time for the next one. I'm going to try to once again "average out of a time" when I see most people are online. Or, just have them decide as a group before things officially start rolling.

So, could have said this a little while ago, haha, but it now appears that Nightmare and Excellence will officially be helping us along this season. We're currently discussing and planning things.

OK guys, due to certain developments, and a significant decrease in applications, we have now closed Sign Ups for this season of Big Brother.

Constants have been decided today, and the chosen ones have been PM about our interest in them. We thank everyone who has sent in an application. It was a seriously hard decision come to, as there was a large variety of great people to pick from. If you did not get chosen this season, please keep on the lookout because you never know just how we make want to use you throughout the season, or future ones to come. Thank for your intereste and participation.

As for the future contestants, keep a look out at your PM box, you will have a few things sent to you in the course of the next week.

The game is scheduled to start roughly a week from today, on Thursday, November 20th. Constants will be announced publicly through the course of the week.

Lawl, trust me. It wasn't an easy decision to make, there were a lot of applications, and very few spots.

Just stay attentive to the game, and you never know just how we might want to use you down the line. Also, if this season goes well, you can probably count on another to take place during next summer. Persistence will most likely pay off.
