I almost felt that way Darknet, but I've seen some pictures of little kids and babies who were pulled out of the rubble and it broke me down. It has to stop and it should stop soon. Isreal is just flexing it's power and the US or some other powerful country needs to tell them to stop and try to negotiate. They killed 10 and you kill 50. It's not right and they should stop throwing chemical weapons at least. Yesterday they threw chemicals that burn your flesh as soon as it touches your skin. They say it's used as a diversion just so they don't break international law.
Its not like there was not casualties in the US's invasion of Iraq, right? No kids or women have ever been killed by US bombs?

War is war.
I completely agree, there hasn't been a war where innocent civilians didn't die. You guys make it seem like they're killing innocent people on purpose. Israel has a lot of enemies around them and they need to buckle down on those who threaten them.

Ofcourse anything involving military action will have casualties, but since Isreal insists it's just protecting itself and not going to war they should cease fire since they've killed over 700 innocent people and taken out a few Hamas militants.

DiP_N_DaBaY, it's not Hamas you should be having sympathy for, it's the almost 900 Palestinians that have been killed due to constant attacks from Israel - attacks that have been protested to no end. Killing babies, women, and children is NOT the answer to this Israel/Palestinian conflict, and certainly doesn't make fighting Hamas worth it.[/i]
Which why they sent ground troops in there. The Hamas has also killed a lot of innocent people over the years, no one ever mentions that.
An eye for an eye is what you're basically saying...how can you think that justifies what Israel is doing? That is terrible, and if more people believe in that saying, we would be having wars to this day.

This is NOT a war. It's not a war because Hamas cannot fight a country that gets billions of dollars and weapons ever year from the United States. This is a straight up siege and it needs to stop. If you have any *bleep*ing humanity in you you would not approve of what Israel is doing.

Actually this is going reasonably well. No real jokes.

And It's a pretty *bleep*ed up situation over there. Both sides are in the wrong over the war, too.

And Israel would never use Nukes. Far to close.

They won't stop because they want to completely get rid of Hamas militants to prevent future conflicts with them.

What's the point, Last time a cease fire was signed Hamas just launched rockets again after. There just hitting Hamas hard enough so it cant launch rockets again back into Israel, especially as there new rockets can reach FAR into the country. They cant just sit around with that threat, its too big.

One key reason I think Isreal went ahead on a ground assault is an election, the government doesn't want to appear weak.
Its not just Israel in the wrong here, its Hamas too, there the ones who put these poor people at risk, hiding weapons in mosks and using civilian buildings for military operations.

Your right, it's not a war, it's Israel getting rid of enemies who have been attacking them for multiple years. Why would you let someone attack your country and not do something about it. Innocent people died, it's very unfortunate, but that's very hard to prevent which is why they sent in ground troops instead.

re: gaza conflict

So it's better to keep attacking until every Hamas Militant is killed even if it causes worldwide outrage and innocent people are killed by the thousands while Hamas slowly trickles away? I wouldn't be surprised if civilians joined Hamas just to attack because there is no sign of a cease fire. It's just a bad move morally, but i guess it's justified by the military. You can't say Isreal is totally wrong, but there needs to be a talk about a cease fire from both sides.

Holy shit, something smart in Loungin.

But yeah, I think Israel should go right on ahead. If you don't want to die, then run away. Simple as.

Usually I'm against war, but from what I understand, Israel was trying to ignore it, but couldn't. People were dying, so they attacked. If it were the US getting rockets launched at them, no one would mind the killing and would be chanting "SUPPORT THE WAR AGAINST _____!"

Yes it is better, one has to win. Otherwise there will be a lot more casualties in the long run. I support Israeli reasoning but I question there execution.

Yeah getting rid of the Hamas militants now will prevent further deaths on both sides. But Israel does need to be more careful on killing innocent people.

Yeah they should. But things like that happen in war. Just like when that US fighter pilot shot down his own troops.
