I only go there for the FAQS.

I don't go near other forums, I tried one once, but
Neoseeker really is the only forum I feel comfortable with.

I was banned for arguing with a moderator. I still don't know why, I didn't insult the guy. They seem to ban people when they don't get their way - the same thing happened with a few people I know.

You are a wise one indeed.... Although, I suppose that comes from personal experience.... But none the less, I agree, GameFAQS mods are stupid.... They have been known to punish/suspend/ban members for little to no real, valid, logical reason at all... I have been posting there for 3-4 years now, so I know exactly what you mean.... The only reason I still post there to this day is because it is just another place to discuss things, if I get modded out of no where, oh well....

Neo has better mods though, people you can actually talk to and reason with... GF mods hide in the shadows and never post amognst the crowd like neo mods do.... Not openly anyway....

And another reason why so many trolls, regardless of join date, seem to not get modded is because GF shares it's forum community with Gamespot forums, and if someone trolls with a gamespot account, reporting them through GF will do nothing 99.9% of the time..... I know, sounds stupid right? But that's true....

Neo > GF for sure!



Funny, many people on GF who say GF > Neo are usually trolls..... So I am glad they think Neo sucks..... Neo does seem to suck for trolls, because I see a lot less of them here, and a lot more of them on GF/GS....

I only use Gamefaqs for specific guides for games...

Never been on their forums and have no intention of using them, especially after reading some of the comments in here about it.

Go there for FAQs sometimes. Used to go to the forums but damn. I've never been banned, but I got so sick of the shite over there. One guy asked a question about FFXII just trying to start a conversation(I think he asked if anyone else thought Ivalice was the best fantasy world in an RPG, and if not, what was your choice of the best) and immediately people were "OMG ur trollingz!" and "Everyone knows to ignore posts made by (whatever the topic maker's name was)".

So, way too much douche-ness over there for me. I've found Neo. I like it here. XD

Bullcrap. I just wanted them to knock it off the suspsending. They kept doing it to me all the time and now I cant use my old account which I had since 1998. Thank god I created a new one but I had go to the town library to sign up at gamefaqs.

Being a moderator there, then immediately resigning after seeing how the other moderatord act really showed me how bad that place was. But that was long ago, and I barely remember anything, even my account has slipped my mind.

Hera you were a moderator at gamefaqs? Well its gotten ugly over there now and this member called Brain Hammer is acting like he's king of the Horror board and intentionally blurting out my old account IDs so he's starting these stupid online fights at gamefaqs with me. I even tried marking his messages for the moderators but they're like his butt buddies or something. It just makes me sick.

Hate to break it to Brain Hammer but there's more than one person that uses the same computer at a house so I'm not the only person in the damn world living in a house using the same computer. Other people come by to visit and whatever.
