Being born in the 90s I still have to say that 80s cartoons were superior.

I'm a fan of the 60's. I can't really explain as to why I like it, it's just something about that time period that was so interesting to me.

Do the 90s count as 'retro' now?

I don't understand modern TV shows for kids. We had nothing like Hannah Montana and all that crap

In the 80s we had He-Man, G.I. Joe, Go Bots, Rock Lords, COPS, Silverhawks, Visionaries (don't know if anyone remembers those last 2 series), Voltron, Transformers, etc.

The girls would of more likely watched Care Bears, GEM, Rainbow Brite, Strawberry Shortcake lol

I also remember Power Rangers in high school lol (along with Batman, Spiderman and X-Men cartoons. I think there was also a cartoon called Teknoman

When I see things like Naruto, Pokemon, and all those other cartoons ... they look nothing like ours. The only ones that were cool were Dragon Ball Z and Inyuasha

I feel bad for Big Bad Beetle Borgs. That show consistently beat Power Rangers in ratings (to be fair, it aired after PR's peak) but it ended so early because they ran out of Japanese footage.

I'd rather the retro games and metal over today's, though some of what today has to offer is well worth investing in too.

My earliest memory of Pokemon was when I order picked at a video warehouse back in 1998 or after ... I knew what Pokemon was by then, but back in high school ... I don't remember Pokemon at all back then

All I remember from the fad was that I used to like the games (they're okay from a gaming standpoint nowadays), I used to like the anime (which started decent, then went to shit with a second season) and that we had made up something anti-Pokemon when we all got sick of it about... 4 or 5 months later - Pukemon: Gotta Flush Em All.

Wow, I may have to start collecting vinyl.

I have a horseshoe that my great grandpa found inside a tree trunk. My grandfather is a lumberjack, and he found a very old horseshoe inside a tree. He was pretty lucky to have found it, because if he had chopped too high or too low, he would have missed it. Anyway, my best guess is that this horseshoe is about 200 years old. If you believe in luck, then this is one lucky horseshoe.
