Posting Pictures

Either post your own picture or don't post at all. Do not post pictures of other people. Regardless of permission, we don't want any people posting pictures other than themselves. There is no problem with you posting a picture with other people in it, but not a picture that is just of someone else. We don't want to see cartoon pictures, your foot or your toys in a questionable position. And for anything humorous, we have the funny pictures thread. Do not, under any circumstances, ever use anyone else's pictures without their permission, ANYWHERE. This includes, but is not limited to, your own personal website, other forum's on Neoseeker, and your hard drive. It should be common sense, however I thought it should be laid out in no uncertain terms.

Commenting

Commenting on pictures is allowed, as long as you're not commenting in a derogatory way, or flirting with someone. If you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing. And if you can't keep your hormones to yourself, then don't post. If you do abuse this rule, the offense will be dealt with in a manner appropriate to the size of the issue.

Chatting

Please don't use this thread to chat about anything. There is a difference between commenting on someones picture (above rule) and chatting back and fourth between people. Just make sure you're not turning this thread into a general discussion. If you're chatting, it's very unlikely that you'll receive a NeoPM telling you about your post being deleted. Deleting posts in this thread takes long enough. Please keep chatting to a minimum.

Picture Quoting

Don't quote pictures. It's pretty simple. There are several other ways to comment than to quote. You can post a link to the post, or you can just put "[img]" or link to the image, but don't quote the picture itself. If you quote a picture, your post will be deleted with a simple generic message. You'll be allowed to repost, but if you constantly do it, expect to be banned.

Break these rules at your own risk.

Just as a side note guys, please try to keep the commenting to a minimum. It's a pretty loose rule, but don't stretch it TOO much.

Important Additional Note:

Let's get one thing straight here guys, this thread isn't for you to come in and question the validity of another member's photos. If someone is posting bogus pictures, it's none of your concern, you either trust them or you don't. If the latter is true, you don't turn on them just because you have a suspicion they're not being entirely honest. If you're bitter because someone is stealing your attention, don't try slinging shit at them because that's not gonna fly. There won't be more warnings about it, we'll just target the individual members who are causing the trouble.
