As Seen On TV Products |

How many of you buy into the hype of some/most/all of these As Seen On TV products? Some of them actually work well, but some are exaggerated.

I never buy into the hype of TV products. Some I will admit look interesting, but I have never broken down to buy anything.

If it really worked it would be in every single shop in every town.

I have been tempted by a ton of them, but I've never bought one. I just really don't trust it. As it's been said before in thread, if it was a legitimate product that really worked, I would be able to buy it at other stores.

The Miracle Blades do work. I bought them.
The thing that is fascinating to me, isn't the product itself, but the people who they portray as so stupid to handle the everyday item that they need to have this new invention. For example, with the miracle blades. The commercial shows a woman stabbing a tomato with a regular knife and gets frustrated when it is squished. WHO STABS A TOMATO???? ------------------- If for any reason you're not completely satisfied, I hate you. | |

Ha, like I'll ever buy into a TV ad. I always assume they're full of bullshit. Things sitting out on a shelf in open view at a store are more trustworthy than a minute-long clip of flashy graphics and ecstatic narrators. Why do you think they're always saying "THIS ITEM IS NOT AVAILABLE IN STORES!"?

It usually looked like the products were good, and I admit that sometimes the music drew me in, as well as the person/voice. However, I never really wanted to buy them. $19.99 for some things is just too expensive.
