If you plan on going Trick-Or-Treating, check anything you get afterwards. There are still a lot of people that do not know this and regret it.
People like to be a little evil and stick harmful objects in the treats they give out. Everything from razors in apples. I have even heard of rat poison on some of the candy. I guess anything can happen. Just a fair warning for those unaware.  -------------------  | |

It isn't that common around here for items or toxics to be hidden in the sweets. I only ever eat the things that still sealed as they are in the shops.

God people are still doing this? I remember back when I was a child we could never eat anything that was not checked first, and if it was a fresh item ((ie: Apples, cookies, cupcakes)) they were thrown away.

One Halloween some old bastard gave me prunes. Not even wrapped or anything. It was dark and I thought they were those shitty peanut butter chewies that come in solid black or orange wrappers, so I was already pissed. To my dismay, they were greasy, nasty prunes. God dammit.

I never checked my shit when I went trick or treating when I was little. As long as it was in a wrapper and it looked good, I ate it. Anything else that looks damaged or tampered with, I threw away.
