More than meets the eye... The eye... Image Heavy. |

Many of you may of noticed my sudden and peculiar absence from the loungin'. I'll have to say it was due to food poisoning following illness which still plagues me at this moment. During this time I was laying around watching TV (which I usually never do) and I saw the new "Run this town tonight" video... Oh boy I instantly noticed symbolism... While some of it was super obvious (if you've seen this kind of stuff before other stuff was a little more difficult to understand.
Now comments such as "Crazy" and "Looking into it too deep" are expected but when you'll notice these "signs" and "symbols" more and more once you understand. It won't seem so crazy. Trust me it is crazy, the fact that it exists is crazy. Here we go. I've mentioned the quote "Do what thou wilt" from Aleister Crowley before, but you can clearly see it on Jay Z's shirt in this picture. ![]() Here's a picture of Aliester Crowley. ![]() “Do What Thou Wilt” is the official dictum of the Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.). The O.T.O. is a hermetic order modeled after Freemasonry and German Illuminism and teaches its initiates the secrets of the Mysteries, gnosticism, sex magick, Kaballah etc. It is based on the “Law of Thelema” which main precept is “Do What Thou Wilt be the whole of the Law“. Here's a little quote from Mr. Crowley quoteNow what is Jay Z, a cool black ghetto gangster doing with some old whacky luciferian white dude's stuff? On to the Video. Watch the Video first, so it's fresh in your mind and you can see what is taking place. The video itself shows rebellion obviously, chaos, confusion and a form of a coupe' de etat basically. This one is a bit odd. It shows a torch being passed to Rhianna ![]() The Torch of Illumination is the symbol of this and can be found in many instances (see Statue of Liberty, a gift from French Freemasons). The goal of the Illuminist has been put in plain in simple words: they are dedicated to the “coming forth of the conquering light“. “Run This Town” visually represents this aim in a clear way for the initiates yet concealed for the profane. quoteThe lyrics back what is said. The torches hint to a new spiritual and philosophical era where Lucifer is king. She is “addicted to the thrill” of being on the dark side and she knows that dealing with it is a “dangerous love affair“. But regardless of all of this, it all comes down to control, hence “Only thing that’s on my mind is who gon run this town tonight“. Symbolism in lyrics - quote Jay-Z is asking you to “Pledge your allegiance” to the new ruler and to wear black everything to honor him. Jay’s lyrics contain hints to Freemasonry who are hidden in the double meaning of some lines. “I gave Doug a grip” means he gave Doug a stack of money but the double meaning to that line would refer to the Masons’ secret handshakes which are called “grips”. And who is Doug? Might be Doug Morris. The last line of his first verse is “Back to running circles’ round niggas, now we squared up“. Aside from its obvious meaning, it also refers to the important Masonic concept of “squaring the circle”. (”I get more in-depth if you boys really real enough“). In the second verse, Jay-Z says ”It’s the return of thee god“, which refers to the Luciferian belief of men being gods. This term is often used in NY slang and originates from the fact that many rappers were Five-Percenters, a philosophy based on the belief that all men are gods. Further in the song Jay-Z says “I’m in Maison, ugh, Martin Margiela” which is a upper-end fashion store. English speaking people usually pronounce the french word ”maison” to sound like ”mayzaun”. Jay-Z however says it to sound like “mason” as in “Freemason”. There is an obvious double-meaning here meant to catch the ear of the listener. He basically says “I’m in Mason” to make people say “huh did he really say that?” as “I’m a Freemason” but he then continues by saying “ugh, Martin Margiela“. The little pause after he says those words accentuate the effect. Then Rihanna comes back with the chorus... quoteRemember the "do what thou wilt? Sounds like she's promoting that belief. The Third example of symbolism - And what started my search into this. ![]() The eye of Horus, or the eye on the back of the dollar bill. I thought this was odd for being in a "rap" video. Honestly I thought most media based things were "simple" and "stupid" while I haven't really looked into it's symbolism. So “Run This Town” contains obvious hints leading towards Luciferian philosophy and occult orders. The fire of Lucifer’s torch esoterically represents divine knowledge and wisdom brought to men. ![]() ![]() When I saw them doing that pose in the video, I was wondering why they were smacking me with the obvious luciferian and occult symbolism. More evidence... Jay-Z’s clothing line “Rocawear” has incorporated obvious occult symbols in its designs. Some are so blatantly Masonic that he probably couldn’t get away with it if he wasn’t effectively implicated with them. In interviews, Jay-Z has said to be actively involved in the choices of designs of his clothing line. Here are some examples: ![]() ![]() Masters of the Craft" is a Masonic saying and the All-Seeing Eye of the Great Architect depicted here is directly taken from Masonic works. Notice also the secret handshake depicted in a circle. You should probably watch the video a few more times to see if you can catch all of the signs. I probably didn't list it all, but this is just one video. All I'm trying to do is to let everyone know what's going on when you're out there doing this, or when you're friends are doing it. ![]()

Protip broski: If you're going to post something that you think MIGHT be reported, or just something that's really long, you should put it on notepad, so just in case you lose it, you won't actually lose it.

So, basically, Jay-Z is an evil genius and wants to take over the world?
Or maybe he adopted this imagery because it looks cool and interesting and gets people on the internet with too much time on their hands talking about him, thus generating more sales of his records/clothes.

Symbolism is everywhere but mostly in popular locations, movies, music etc. There's usually a double meaning it. One which applies to the masses, and one to the elite. Lady Gaga is another one who dabbles into the occult symbols, and practices etc.
I'm sure people are thinking "he's just using/stealing/adopting their ideas and gangsterfying it so it's "cool". No, that's a sense of false safety belief and what you're led to believe.
