"Problems" are the driving force of civilization. Not enough food? People work to get some. Somebody sick? People work to find a cure and/or remedy it.
It's what makes the world go round.

In an ideal society, money wouldn't really be needed. But people feel the need to be compensated for the back-breaking work they've done for the past 8 hours. I sure as hell would.

quote CupsOfSauceOur current economy is merely structured around the world's problems. An economic system in and of itself doesn't depend on a world full of sick people. For example, doctors are incredibly intelligent people that would no doubt be employed in another highly useful and demanding profession if there were no hospitals to employ them.

We've learned to make a positive out of our problems, but that doesn't mean it benefits humanity. It only benefits one part of a society. But what of the other part of society, the part that's experiencing the problems? It's unfair for them.
With no disease, we all have equal gain. ------------------- ![]()

It's not like what I say matters. It's just a point. As for the first post/reply, who would watch over the creation of these robots? Or make sure everything is maintained?
Those people wouldn't want to do it for free while everybody else just enjoys it. But whateves.

It's taken me a while to come up with a valid reply for this, but here goes:
