Make sure your graphics card supports TnL and download DirectX 9. Pretty obvious.

Direct X should have it's own executable in your computer's control panel. You can check what version you have there.
TnL is supported by various video cards, do you know what video card your PC uses? -------------------  | |

Im using classix Windows Xp at the moment.
Not sure if this works the same in Vistoo or Win7, but right click on your desktop. Go to properties, and the display properties dialogue should appear. Go the settings tab, then hit the advanced button. Should bring up a general video source menu which will display your vid card's info under one of the tabs, usually 'adapter'. Then look up your vid card with google, and check the specs. TnL refers to Transform and Lighting (a special effect if you will). It's considered a higher end feature of more powerful video cards, which most modern computers support in some fashion, if the PC is capable of gaming (a pure business machine probably won't support it). In any case, if a game isn't detecting it, your video card can't utilize the feature, and some games demand its use as a requirement. (Usually the kind made by jerks who don't want to code around it) You can nab a decent 256mb vid card (AGP or PCI) for about 30-40 bucks on Ebay. Got a half-gig'er for 44, bit higher end for this PC tbh, but I needs the best I can get. My mobo is archaic and will only go so far, and I needs to squeeze as much out o' it as possible till tax return season.  ------------------- | |
