We've already had stores and catalogs selling Christmas shit since October. My mom wants our wishlists already too. Ugh, so annoying that people are practically celebrating Christmas when autumn's hardly even started. I'm so tired of people even thinking about Christmas so early. Sure it's a great holiday, but it's not so great that we have to spend a quarter of a year on it. It's all about economics these days.

November is such a nasty month. Not cold enough for snow, but it's cold enough to be bitter. Plus, the leaves stop being brilliant orange and red and start turning brown. The only good part is turkey, stuffing, and taters at the end of the month.

The build-up is in the media purely for commercial and financial reasons. Money money money is how the world is ran.

The economy sucks, advertising needs to start earlier. People are less casual about spending, so if you extend the season for holiday shopping and promotion, you have the appearance of hampering less on consumer wallets.

And Christmas smells awesome, so stfu and go sniff a pinecone.

Ugh, it is time to begin the holiday crawl, where everything is dancing around trying to make you happy and festive when you don't want to be for another month. Deck my halls and I'll deck you.

At least the forty different iterations by half-baked past "big-time" celebrities of our "favourite" Christmas carols haven't hit my radio yet. If they don't wait until December it'll be a miracle.

I love how everyone is like "IT GETS EARLIER EVERY YEAR" when really, it's the same time every year.
