The Big Q |

Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3?
I currently own a 360 and I can play *BLEEP* (<Self Censor) games I will not tell you how, google is your friend. I haven't been playing a lot and I see a lot of hawt games on the PS3, I was originally a Sony boy but I switched to 360 only because the console looked good to me and it was cheap. I have also been a MGS fan and haven't even seen MGS 4, not even the trailers. I've never used Live because I couldn't and even if I could I wouldn't want to pay for it. So any suggestions? Should I *fix* my 360 or get a PS3? ------------------- Never Opened myself this way

Seeing as your 360 can still play games, get the PS3.
Unless your 360 can't play games anymore... Actually, why not just do both? ------------------- ![]() The answer to your first question is SHUDDUP!

I can still play older games not the new one's. I can't do both, mula problems.

Well, if you're unsatisfied with the 360, buy a Playstation 3. They're much cheaper now, as it is. If you don't want to drop $299 for a new console, fix the 360. If it's reasonable to do both, do both.
It boils down to me preferring Playstation controllers more. Some exclusivity and free online is great, but the controller thing for me really was the deal breaker Just go with your instincts, you probably won't regret either.

I want to experience online console gaming, and I've been eyeing the PS3 slim I like it but the problem is the backward compatibility but I can forgive that are there any common bugs with Slim?

If you can only choose one, whatever you choose, you're going to wonder if you should have done the other.
If it's a lack of funds, go for the most expensive option, then save up for the other. While enjoying the benifits of the expensive choice. ------------------- ![]() The answer to your first question is SHUDDUP!

Well the expensive one is getting the PS3 but for that I'd have to sell my 360. My cardboard home is falling apart.

re: The Big Q |
quote undertaker4everThat's why I kept my PS2 along with all of its games. I have the original 60GB, backwards compatible PS3 so that it's not an issue. But if I want to play a PS2 game I can just as easily stick it in my PS2. There are a small amount of PS1 classics available for download, though. Maybe PS2 titles, but I'm not too sure on that really. Free online is nice though, and I don't feel it's necessarily lacking behind Live to a degree that makes it wish it otherwise. No bugs as far as I know, but I don't have the slim, so I couldn't tell ya. And I'm not Googling for them, either I'd get the PS3 for a change of pace and then fix your Xbox whenever you can afford to. Plenty of old greats (MGS, etc.) plus tons of new games releasing right around now. It'll more than hold you over. From the looks of it 2010 is going to be a pretty great year for Sony, as well.

Hmm...
Why do you have to pay out to fix the 360? I thought it would just be a case of reinstalling the official firmware on it. [From what you said I thought you had put on custom firmware to play digital copies of games.] ------------------- ![]() The answer to your first question is SHUDDUP!

quote XI wish it was, it's something else that I can tell you about and get reported for it, all you need to know is that it's not a free fix because I don't know how to do it. ------------------- Never Opened myself this way

quote undertaker4ever Well I'm sorry, but the PS3 is pretty bad for online gaming. Even if you can somehow get on without lag, the network is full of jackass' trying to screw you over in the middle of a game. -------------------

Uh, have you actually played on XBL before? It's just as bad, if not worse.
