Ok...now my mother put in a case file to find my Father after 13 years...pretty soon we will know were he is at...i want to now what you guy's think i should say to him...im gonna check this thread tommorow.

I met my Dad for the first time in my 23 year life about a month or so back. All I did is say 'Hi' and got talking from there. It was actually far less weird than I would have expected.

I'm knocking on three years myself; seems like my dad finally stopped caring.
Anyway, try to defuse the situation, come right out with it, like "alright, we know what kind of situation this is, we're not gonna sugarcoat it, etc etc" lay it all on the table and then see what comes out of it... and then offer to go drink a beer at the local pub.
