I'm doing an English analysis on a book where the main character gets his girlfriend pregnant, who is of a different religion, before marriage, when they're both about 18. His mother hates him for it and a short while later has a brain hemerage or something from the stress, and he feels guilty of killing her.

Here is where I need help; I have to compare that aspect to another movie or book (preferably movie) that has a similar theme of either a girl getting pregnant, or a dude getting his girl pregnant, at a young age and his parents exiling him/her for it. In essence, a movie with a lot of shame or guilt felt because of the whole pregnancy thing.

I've seen heps like it, but right now nothing is springing to mind. I just need a movie title, which I'll look up on imdb and do the rest. Thanks.

The only one I can think of is Quinceañera (2006).

I didn't actually see it, but my roommate watched it. I hope that helps.
