	Well I must admit I'm surprised this thread is still going. I realy don't know why this is still alive since it was pretty much answered long ago. Now there appears to be nothing but spam. To think people are actually blaming MCR for the current emo culture. Dude music is an expression of ones-self not something to be followed religiously. It's not MCR's fault it's the ucked up people who take it to bleeping far and wreck everything. bleep the bleep I'm telling it true. Cutting wrists have been around for ages, it wasn't invented by MCR. Listen to some of Eminem's old beats. It's even in one of sex pistols old songs. This is utter stupidity and I felt like blowing of some steam on this stereotypical and idiotic topic. A for peircing they also aren't trademarked to emo's. Ever seen a bikey? When I hear the term Emotional Rock I think of the great power ballads of the eighties by acts such as Heart, Marillion, Cutting Crew and Pat Benatar... Are they emo??? Shock realisation!!! Coldplay are Emo!!! Why??? Because it's emotional Rock... You see where I'm going? I see emo as the transition between the latter end of Nu-Metal blending into Post-Hardcore... As for the Emo fashion sense... Your guess is as good as mine... But personally I think they all look a bit gay... (Like I said, I'm Old School... And boys wearing pink just does not compute in my dinosaur peanut sized metalhead bonce... )

	Chavs are harmless... I live in a rough part of the UK and yes we have our fair share of chav based crime and some of them wear pink... That doesn't stop the fact that Emo kids wear pink too...
