Shuttle ME17 Motherboard with Intel Celeron 433 Mhz CPU
|
To whom it may concern: I have two of the above mother boards, and I have not be able to make connection to my network after upgrading the O/S to Win 2000 Pro. I work for a manufactory company; we recently upgrade to Windows 2000 Professional, and all the other pc's worked fine. But either one of the above pc's will connect to the Network. They were running Windows NT 4.0 fine, and they were connected to the network. I can upgrade, or install Windows 2000 with no problem, but once I try to connect I can't connect. I know it's not NIC problem, or software drivers but it seems that this motherboard or BIOS, are not compatible with Win 2000. If anyone knows the answer to this question please let me know. Thank you very much...by the way, I am an A+, MCSE certified with 3 yrs of experience, and over 100 upgrades under my belt. I just want to let you know that I am not a novice. I have swaped and troubleshoot this two PC, and I can't still make it to work. If you know what is causing them not to be able to connect to the network, please let me know. Thank you very much....
