1) Mandez

To start of with, use a flash grenade on mandez, then QUICKLEY get out a handgun (i used a Red9) and blast him until he gets REALY close, then sprint to the other ide of the arena. Once ther, get out either: Handgun/ Shot gun/ TMP and fill that bastard full of hot led. carry on running from end to end, shooting all the time. Soon he will turn into his 2nd form (which, by the way, is easy) and basicly, do the same. but be carfull you dont get slashed by him. If you have a rocket launcher, then on the 2nd form, use it. Grab the false eye and leave.

2) (chapter 2-3, right path) El gigante

First use a flash grenade to stun him, then use the TMP on him. When you see the Los plagas in his back, slash away. Repeat 2 to 3 times ( if you dont have the TMP or dont have any ammo for it, then i reccomend the Red9/punisher ). Check all the huts for items, and get the old key. Go up to the end door, then leave.

With the Village Chief fight I used a rocket launcher on his first form since to me it's the most dangerous then, on his second I used the Rifle, upgraded a bit. Does tons of damage and it knocks him to the floor every two shots or so. Flash grende to knock him to the floor and a grenade on that is a good combo aswell. RL is worth it since he drops 30,000 to replace it anyway.

Dont waste a rocket launcher!!!! You can kill him with a handgun... all the bosses in the village can be killed with a handgun!!!!! Or a spear thing on the boat!

Apparently true, though it's more advised to kill Krauser with the knife.

Mendez is easy,just shot at him at run to the other side when he gets close.Dont bother with any of that changing levels crap in an effort to distract him.Just do this for both forms.I beat him with the unupgraded hand gun and I sucked.

ok these guys aren't really bosses, but they are QUITE hard.

Regenerators & Iron Maidens. . . How to deal with them. I know to snipe their parasites with my SA Rifle nd Infared scope, but I can never figure out their attacks...so if anybody has a list of their attacks that would help a LOT!

Shoot their parasites... in pro mode there should be one in the back... take out your shotgun and blast him with it! Keep goin or else he might grab you, run away unless you HAVE to fight them... the first encounter with the regenorator you can just run straight out the door. The next one you can use a flash grenade and dogde it than run into the ice room. The one in the ice room you have to kill if you want the thing... the one when you start to enter the garbage place use a flash grenade, the 1st iron maiden kill it... the 2nd two just run past (2nd iron maiden use flash grenade and run past and push that thing... lure him closer to you before using the flash grenade and run past him). The next 2 regenarator you have to kill, or open the door, lure them in, run back to the other room, pull the switch and lock them on the other side!. The last one you can just run past... grenades (except flash grenades if your going to run past them) wont help..... GOOD LUCK!

Just shoot their leg to make them fall down, and shoot the parasite on the back with the Infrared Scope. When they fall they become immobilised for around a second or two, allowing you to aim steadily.

Yes, but you need to be fast with the follow-up shot. Once they've recovered (which doesn't take long) they speed across the floor.

I always manage to do it though. If you don't switch weapons, then you'll have enough time to do it I'm sure.

this thead is about tips on fighting bosses, so I will post some help.

Salazar-This guy is really fun and easy. Ignore the tentacles on the walls, shooting them will just waste ammo. Shoot the Giant eye on the snake thing with a shotgun 2 times. If you see green blood, that means you hit him, if you see sparks, that means you missed. The Snake's body will go away, and the shell that protects the Human Salazar is gone. Use the Broken butterfly, or rocket launcher to hurt him. About 2 clips from the broken butterfly will kill him. A single rocket launcher shot will end his life. After you shoot Salazar up with your gun, he will say "PAYBACK!" OR his mouth will open sideways. RUN! Run lef or right, but don't fall into the pit, theres parisites waiting to kill you. Shoot the eye until Salazar is revealed, and kill him. Don't worry about the tentacles on the walls, use the doge buttons to escape them. He will also do a rare attack, that the snake head will ram the ground, just run away and he won;t hurt you.

Regenerator/Iron Maiden-These guys are much easier than you think. First, equip the thermal scope on any rifle, then snipe the parasites (Yellow/orange ball), and shoot there leg. Theres SOMETIMES a hidden parasite on the back, so blow his leg off, and shoot it. Thats all.

Krauser-He says "fight like a man!", so do it! No need to waste bullets on him, so what do you do? Dodge his attacks using the dodge buttons, and one of his attacks, he will jump up, and slam the ground. Dodge that, and knife him in the head about 6 times to kill him. My favorite boss fight. Don't stay on the edge of the tower, or he will knock you down. That was fun.

Regenerators (without thermal scope)-You will need to kill 2 of them before you get your scope, so put all your shotgun and magnum rounds into its chest/head/arms. NEVER NEVER NEVER shoot his legs. Or else he will fall down, and leap on you and bite you, doing huge damage. Be sure to stay a far distance, or else you will face a horrible death.

Saddler-For the last boss, he sure is pathetic. Shoot the eyes on his legs, and he will fall down. Run towards his head/claw thing, and push (A) to climb on him and stab his eye. Do this 6 or more times, and Ada will give you a rocket launcher. run across the bridge, and before it drops, use the dodge buttons to jump. Grab the rocket and blow that beast apart!

Note:If you have poor accuracy, and have a hard time shooting the eyes on his legs, ONE greande will knock him down, allowing you to stab his eye. (he is immune to flash greandes) Also, there are red barrels near you, shoot that to harm saddler.
