hmm... well if u resued that dog ni the beginning of the game he should come out and distract him. what i did was i kept shooting him (i think i had a TMP... but no matter either the tmp, pistol or shotgun will work)... and then when he bends forward with that thing stickign out of it's back i shot that thing with the scoped rifle... shoot that thing 4 to 5 times and keep shooting his body and running in between his legs when he walks towards you should be enough

anyone know how to get ashley out of the three bars in chapter 3-4????

For Ashley

Stand on that ledge in front of her, arm your rifle, and shoot out the metal bands. Aim for the bands on the side of her body though, not directly in front of her (because this will kill her). If you aim correctly the bands will break.

For The Ogre

Just keep running from one side to the other. Wait for him to charge you, then dive out the way. When you do, quickly turn and shoot at his back (his back is his weak spot). After hitting him enough times, you will see a huge parasite come out of his back and he will kneel down. At this point, QUICKLY run up to him and jump onto his back (with the action button). You will then be given the choice to stab him (with the action button). Try to stab as quickly as possible before getting thrown off. Then just repeat this...

I am stuck at the part in the castle where there is that dude locked up in the prison. when i go near him he escapes and then i try shooting him and can only squeeze off a few shells before he impales my head.

any tips?

When you release him, wait for him to come out of the cell, and shoot one of the bells on the side of the room with your pistol. He'll charge at the bell, thinking it's an enemy (he's blind). This is your chance to blast him in the back (his only vulnerable spot) with the shotgun. One of those evil parasites will pop out - blast that too. Rinse, repeat.

I'm stuck in the room underneath the castle where you activate the power for the elevator. That damn beastly thing keeps killing me before I can kill it/the four minutes runs out. Any tips? I think it has something to do with the liquid nitrogen tanks, but I can't figure out how to use them to my advantage.

Alright, for that annoying bastard, just run around and try your damndest to not get hit. What really helps is if you run right up to the Nitrogen tanks when the monster is right by you, and press the A button to knock the tank over and freeze him. DON'T try to shoot him, he'll just break out of the ice faster, and the key to victory here is to buy as much time as possible. Good luck.

Oh yes, another wonderful thing to do for this guy (BTW he takes after a hunter greatly, maybe that's why he's SO DAMN ANNOYING!?) is to spend all your money on Healing Sprays so when you do take damage you it won't be a problem! Don't try shooting this guy AT ALL unless you MUST to get out of a corner and stun him for 2 seconds! HE'S INVULNERABLE! I PUMPED HIM WITH 2 ROCKETS AND 14 MAGNUM ROUNDS AND HE JUST WON'T DIE LIKE A GOOD LITTLE MONSTER! Also, after you turn on the power to the elevator just run to the door you came in from, turn it on, and run around the square area right next to the switch until the door opens and the elevator comes!

Yeah that guy gave me a real pain in the neck. I tried killing him but it didn't work. Then I figured "freeze the guy an shoot him with the magnum" but the only thing I gained from doing that was releasing him faster and wasting magnum ammo...

Just freeze him, run around for 4 minutes, then rush for the elevator when it works...

Yeah i killed the 1st orge the hard way... run through his legs and shoot, dodge, and shoot, i didn't realize u could jump on his back so the dog could help you... oh well... the (new) dogs in the game surprised the s**t out of me. haha... As for the Mayor there, i used 3 regular grenades on his 1st half (2 i had and 1 upstairs) then grabbed and made my 3-herb life saver, then used the rocket launcher to blast that fu***r. Blind dude, well.. i didn't think about the bells, haha I let him run into walls and just let his claws get cut, so if u run out of bullets, u can do that and just knife the alien parasite in his back. The sewer insects surprised me big time! but the grim reaper dudes are a pain in the butt! i'm at the Gattling gun part with the crazy one shooting at me. (2nd Orge, drop the rock on him and use u'r machine gun to blow the chains off, then just run till the end, let ashley stay there, flash grenade the big guy and run through his legs, grab the key and run back through when he turns around, unlock the door and leave... )

WHAT THE CRAP DO YOU DO IN THE FIRE-ROOM WITH ALL THE STONE DRAGONS AND ENDLESS SUPPLY OF GUYS? I'm stuck :-(
