No, my first time thru in pro mode I got it. It's there in my shopping list. I just bought it from the merchant when it became available. Maybe it was at the bottom of that shaft with the impaling sticks? Maybe a FAQ somewhere can tell you.

Hmm... I think I have the tactical vest in Pro. I think it's available to you after you beat Pro. It's not available for purchase in game though your first time through. I'll have to check because I could have sworn I had it.

But what do you guy make of that FAQ, which state and its is CONFIRM that there aint no tactical vest in pro pal mode, maybe u guy got the american and japan version.

Ok, that does clear thing up big time.

So after take all your points and ideas then here is my conclusion for the differents between modespro and normal), in no particular order, since i myt screw them up and got you guy after me

- The grey regenerator at the island: you will need to blow out all of the hot spots on their bodies in order to kill them.

- Mike really take his time to help you in the Final Stand.

- There are no Tactical Vest in pro mode and in PAL version(you myt get them in other versions)

- The obvious fact that the enemies hurt a hell 'alot more.

That will be all...i think. *thread close* just kidding.

play through the game as Leon with his RPD outfit youll recieve the benefits of the vest and the next time you play as Leon with the normal outfit the vest will be avaible for purchase at the start when you get the chance to buy and sell stuff i did that and i got the vest in pro

Hm... I notice that Professional mode is harder than Normal mode.

Pro mode, there is less bullets(certainly seems that way) the ganados do so much more damage and in thicker waves. Only play pro when you become very sure with whats coming up because if you run short of ammo or health, ull be dead in a very short time. hard is good though, is gives it more replay on top of the mercanaries and project ada.

I dont know about the ammo supply 'cause i have never run out of ammo and had to use my knife unless for cargo or vases. But if its magnum ammo you are talkin about then.....cant help you there. lol

Also, what is this talk about the special outfit act as the tactical vest in all modes??? i use the special vest for most of my pro. run but i dont think it working that way, the ba$tards still hurt like hell.

One other possible difference I've noticed is that button mashing / analog stick wiggling sequences seem a lot harder. Take the first rolling rock in the village. In first round normal, I got that after 2-3 tries. In my pro game, it took around 8 tries.

Hee, yeah. The thing about button mashing is that if I don't get it after the first couple tries, I get frustrated and just start swearing and smashing the keyboard against the wall.

Nice, that one way to not beat the game. lol, its does bring me back memory of play Mario Kart: Double Dash, man does that game really tick me off...but here, i got a little hint or you could call it "strategy" since i never die at the button smashing sequence using it.

Not much to it but basically before you trigger the sequence then put your controller down on the floor and then start the scene, i found that really improve your pressing speed but if you not quick enuff in the button combo at the end(A+B or L+R) then....good luck.
