It's been over a year since i've hit this forum and it look s pretty dead but still I had to write this down because I just read about BG III actually starting to be developed I was in awe, mainly because I said it would never happen. But it look s like it will be based around Baldur's gate in its early starting days wich is something i never considered, but never the less, sounds good. Its kind of a shame that they are scraping the infinity engine and thinking about going with a 3D feel for the game. I have high hopes but i hope the focus on story and just let the imagery be eye candy rather than the selling point.
