Santa alwasy crashes or makes my game run slow
Why

Hmmm, maybe your computer is cr*p and can't take loads of people in one lot. It happens to me when I'm in Downtown. It goes .....stop....stop...stop. When at the house it goes nice and smoothly but when I throw parties it sometimes happens too.

my computer is windows 98
and has 64 mb
is that somthing to do with it?

I'm not sure. Ask some other member who has more experience in computer. All I know is if my computer is cr*p then it will run slow.

yes it starts going very laggy, and sometimes like in new expansion pakcs such as superstar whenever i go past the skydiving simulator it goes all laggy and i dont like it, sorry im off subject

It goes slow when I go pass the massive thingy where you can go underwater too.

Yea that as well, but i hardly go on them, as your energy goes donw well quick in the underwater thing, or is it just the time speed, no no no coz i only had it on 2. so i never buy them really.

I never seen the sim santa i try to do the trick about the fireplace and the cookes but my sims sometimes stay up late.

I got Windows 98 too. It crashes when I go on vacation sometimes too. Simomatic, you need to make sure the free will option is off, and you watch the timer.

Santa Trick:
On the first day of your move-in, get all of your stuff that you need. Then go to Build Mode and get the $3000.00 fireplace. Then you need the Christmas Tree(It's in the Decorations Tab), and place it by the fireplace. Then, buy a stand and put the cookies there. Make sure, your Sims are in bed before 11 PM. Santa should come around in between, 12-1 AM.

for the santa sim to come do you have to have a christmas tree somewhere

I think the christmas tree comes with the Livin' Large expansion pack... I don't have it either

and also, after u create a family, sometimes u can see the loch ness monster in the river at the bottom left corner

You don't have to have any families, you just leave the computer for a minute (say... to use the phone) and then you see a little loch ness monster. It's cute!

Yeah but you can't get a Christmas tree in Hot Date, can you?

i dont know i havent tried hot date by it self.
