My god...how much of a let down is the cow level.

I completed teh whole thing AGAIN just to see the fabled cow level. i was sooo dissapointed. Those cows are crap. i went up half a level after killing EVERY cow, took all the goods back and made about 100k.

If i got into any danger with them circling me i just used whirlwind and danced straight out.

Any1 else disapointed by it.

You have obviously only done it in normal difficulty. Try it in nightmare and hell and your opinion will change. A cow run (as most "runs" are) are quick games made to rush through a place to level up, then exit and make a new game and do it again. I've been doing Travincal runs as of late.

Really does what? Suck? In 1.10 the difficulty of the cows increased, but the experience gained did not, nor did the valuability of the items dropped.

hmm imo they pretty strong if ur not a barb cuz u can't escape with other chars like the barb can

How so? Sorcs can teleport, mind you. Necros can cast confuse or attract. Amazons will have problems escaping. Paladins can use conversion if it's a high enough level to convert often. Druids and Assassins could have problems escaping as well. Barbarians aren't the only class that can escape

In the Rogue Encampment, put Wirt's Leg and a Tome of Town Portal (tome, not scroll), in the Horadric Cube and transmue them. It'll automatically open a portal to the Cow level. You must have beaten the difficulty mode you're in first though.

also the number of cows are effected by the number of scrolls in the tome. so if you have 20 scrolls in your tome of TP there will be a lot more cows than if you have only 5 scrolls in there.

Didn't the new version of Diablo 2, make cow runs suck nowadays???

yeah, they reduced drops and experience for NM and hell cow runs. each coe has a lesser chance of dropping and gives less EXP.

That kind of sucks that they did that, because of that, lots of people stop playing diablo 2.

Just because they did that to the cow level? Nah, there were more reasons associated with the changes of the 1.10 patch than just that one.

i went back and found that u can go back and get another wirts leg. does this mean that once u defeated the cow king that u can make a new cow level?
