I have Windows XP. When I click on the Icon, the Diablo 2 menu comes up. I click play diablo 2 and the screen just goes black. What's wrong? Is there anyway I can fix it?

Make sure you update your Video card drivers and then try again.

thats not the problem are u a adminastraitor that is the only way u can play it i should know i have a windows xp and that happened to me.

You need to download the latest patch for Diablo II, then it should work fine. That's what I had to do, and it worked for me. Here is the link:
