These are the rules to the Super Mario Sunshine forum. Please take the time to read them, and your stay here will go by much smoother.

1. Don't flame/ degrade any games or the video game consoles, including Super Mario Sunshine. I don't care if you can't stand this game, but if you must express your feelings, back up your opinions with valid facts and views. None of this will be tolerated:

2. Immature behavior, such as name calling, rude remarks, and the like, is unacceptable here. Treat each other with respect, and be tact about it. You're flaming otherwise.

3. Don't post threads and messages that are not Super Mario Sunshine related. Stay on topic. If you don't, you're spamming. I know it's hard (I slip sometimes, too), but all I ask of you is to try. This is a SMS forum, after all, not the "Who dated your boyfriend last?" forum.

*Don't aid an off-topic post/ thread, please. This only makes things worse. We do have a few threads that are an exception to this rule, though. Look for them.

4. Introduce yourself in the Introduction thread if you plan on showing up here on a daily basis (optional, but nice for the rest of us that want to know who you are and who comes here).

5. If you log in as a guest and pose as someone else here, you'll get an IP ban from this forum permanently and all of Neoseeker. This is an Identity Theft. Try all you want with computers at school to get away with this crime, but I know who you are. No public computer will change that. Schools are well aware of this nonsense anyway.

*Notice: Also, don't post as a member or use another account name to bypass a ban. You may end up having your entire IP number permanently banned if you do that.

6. Please try to use correct grammar and spelling. There is a spell check option available when you're ready to post. Look for it near the 'Submit' button, and please use it accordingly.

7. In any picture threads, you MUST disable your signature if you post. There is a box that you must check (de-check in this case) before submitting your post. It's the third box above "Submit." Many people still have 56K modems, and with added banners and signatures, it's a pain to load pictures as well.

*When posting a picture, please include any copyrights. I don't want you to be accused of breaking any federal laws.

8. No repeat threads. Please do not ask the same question or post the same thread over and over again, especially after someone has already answered your question. Look around the forum and use the Search function before you post anything to make sure that your topic or question hasn't already been created.

9. I want to make one point clear:
Absolutely no porn, hentai, references of drugs, alcohol, sex, or foul language in this forum. This is a Rated Forum (Rated PG), and shall be treated likewise. Read the Official Neoseeker General Rules for more information on this matter. Some things I'll let you get away with, but don't keep your hopes up. I'm very firm on this subject. If there's any doubt, don't post it.

10. Use common sense. Shouldn't have to say more on the matter.

11. Read the official Neoseeker forum rules.

12. Frequently asked questions about forum posting in general and the features of forum posting can be previewed {here} (courtesy of Dynamite). If that thread doesn't assist you, then you can {PM} me. I'll be more than happy to help you answer your questions.

13. No advertising anything outside of Neoseeker. This is a general rule of Neoseeker, and I will bring it to everyone's attention. This will be considered spam, and will be treated likewise.

14. As a moderator, I reserve the right to bend the rules. This is sometimes neccesary in order to do do my job here effectively, and I just want to make that clear to you all. I'm not above the law, by all means, but I do enforce it. For example, don't critisize me for double posting in this thread.

15. Don't abuse the "Quote" option. Only quote what's important. Do not quote entire posts, especially if they posted most recently in the forum, just to make a point about one sentence a person said. I'll label this as spamming.

16. In case you hadn't noticed, I added a SMS FAQ Guide in the upper right-hand corner of the forum and in the header of this thread.

*17. Memberating will not be tolerated here whatsoever any longer. I'll give you one warning, and after that, you'll be banned for one day. Here's an example of Memberating:

• "Request Closure!"<--You might think it'll be helpful to me or your post count to take matters into your own hands, but it really isn't. It's actually an insult to a moderator's intelligence, so to speak, and gives an unfriendly feel to the community. And once I delete that post of yours, you're only hurting your post count.

*18. General Help threads are now optional. If you have a question to post, you may post it like you would any other thread. These threads (including the General Help Thread) will stay open in case there is need for further discussion in the future on any questions.

*If you must know, I'm doing this so that we can get more people here to discover Neoseeker and get this place's ppd up. It'll be more of a conveniance for you, too, in my opinion.

19. Have fun! That's what these forums are all about, after all!

Note: Any members or guests that continuously abuse these rules will have their screen names and IP numbers banned. This may last a few hours, a few days, or even permanently.

Shouldn't this thread have been closed? Most of those posts are in the letter game thing. There's not much actual discussion about the game. This forum dosen't need a mod. And if we could do whatever we wanted to here, there would only be chaos.

If you want it too be closed then you would have too pm a section mod or a super for that.
