He has tried it with a friend's game... The odds of the same thing being wrong with two games aren't very good...

and the odds with two cubes having the same problem are a little better, but still pretty slim

I think what we CAN narrow it down to is the cube overheating, the cube or TV wiring, the File or his memory card

Shadow, why not try letting your gamecube sit awhile with SMS in it, and when a while is up, turn on your Gamecube and head straight to those blue coins

if it still freezes, do both of the following

Wake up first thing one day and play the game without the memory card

if it doesn't freeze, insert the memory card and try playing a different file on it doing the same thing as mentioned above

If it STILL freezes, its probably the cube or TV wiring, so get behind the cube and check all your cords and stuff out

If you Buy new wiring and it STILL FREEZES at that point contact a professional

my gamecube crashed really bad a while ago......the best thing to do is follow the rules, and dont play for more than 3 hours at a time....and if you do play that long let it rest for atleast 2 1/2 hours before you start playing again. We had to buy a whole new gamecube.

The GCN doesn't overheat easily... Trust me on that one. I think it may well be the memory card. Try with a friends memory card.

I was too lazy to make another thread for this. I've said this before, but there are Blue Coins in Noki Bay that I just can't seem to get. Whenever I touch them, the game freezes. It can't be my disk or my Cube, because I tried collecting them with my cousin's disk and Cube and it still froze. Could it be *gasp* my Memory Card?

not neccessarily, on a weekend or during summer, you could just play it all day
