Sia shifted the position of her sword before wiping sweat from her brow. She glared up at the sun which hung high above her. There were no clouds in the sky. She had recieved word concerning Ogre raids and attacks on a small human village. Sia had been sent to stop them. She didn't like humans. They could handle their own fights, and besides, it was their own fault to be in this region alone, knowing monsters lurked about.

Sia reached a cliff which overlooked the village. She squatted down low so to not be seen. She could see the vile ogres coming in from the north, to pass through the meager defense the villagers had mustered. She decided she should get to a lower ground when she heard a twig snap behind her. She quickly readied her hand to reach her sword. Sia whirled around--
