This was my favorite system because it was great for its time and was an inovater in many ways especially with online play and with that game seaman... I believe the reason it didnt last was because only rappers like snoop dogg bought them and nobody else besides me lol

I thought it didn't sell long was beacause it was made cheaply (but it was a good system) and lot's of peoples were breaking

I wouldn't say it was made cheaply, just the ventilation is inadequate which I believe was the main cause of it's breaking down (correct me if I'm wrong) It's a valid point though I guess, although not many people knew this was such a wide spread problem until a little while after it's release.

I don't think that it's breaking down had anything to do with the demise of dreamcast. Just look at Sony's Playstation 1 and 2. The first generation for each console notorious for breaking (My first 2 Playstations had to be returned because they didn't work) but look at where Sony is now.

The problem with Dreamcast is that they didn't have a Halo game (a game that practically sells the console). If they had something like that they probably would have been in the console business longer.

I liked it a lot,it had some of the best games like RE:Code Veronica,SA2,MK Gold.I should buy another one of these soon I would look to play the classics.

I know it was not that popular in America but I believe it sold pretty well in Japan and was quite popular. I don't like how people complained about some of the games mostly Sonic Adventure, I loved it, Sonic Adventure 2 could have been better but what are you going to do? One thing I am glad about though is, Sega is still making games even though their hardware failed.

The dreamcast was an amazing system. I loved it. The ps2 came out soon after the DC and was a bit more powerful and of course sony made it so it must be good thing happened. The DC is a lot better then a ps2. The DC had better rpg's then the ps2 and the online support was all made because of sega. I hope someday that sega would rule the world with another console. I would quit being a nintendo fanboy and start with sega again. I love sega. Sonic Adventure 2 is an awesome game

If sega would have spent more time with the dreamcast and made a second one that would be better i think they could dominate if they had a few lucky breaks.

cause they were close too bankruptcy. sega cd didn't sell well, sega saturn didn't sell well, and the dreamcast didn't sell well. Add it all up and you see that they simply couldn't risk it again. Though i hope they try to make one and release it perfectly and blow everybody out of the water. And let the nintendo vs sega wars start again.

I bought one with like 7 games a month ago for 35 bucks and they were like brand new games so. Honestly it is a great console with a great line of games. I highly recomend it.
