My dreamcast refuses to recognize there is disc inside when the lid is completely closed, latched and all. If I close it almost all the way, the disc will start to spin and usually boot up. But it's impossible to play anything like that because the slightest bump moves the lid up and down and stops the game. Any suggestions?

ok, to be perfectly honest I'm not really sure what I did to fix the problem, but it doesn't seem to be doing it anymore. I recalibrated a little bit, cleaned the discs, and loosened the case ( I think it was interfering with how the lever mechanism worked when the door closed) and so far everything looks ok.
